Arrived before expected in very good condition. My 13 year old grandson erected the swing with very little assistance. All pieces fit properly. My daughter and grand kids love the swing and are very happy. It is a nice piece of lawn furniture.
I was very unhappy when we started to assemble this swing set. When I investigated this item, nothing was noted that it would need a coat of paint. It rained the first couple of day after it was put out in the yard and immediately started rusting.
The product comes with screws that are shorter than what you need to thread the nut in as a result of which putting it together was a challenge. I wrote to plum service about the same but received no response. I went out to homedepot and got longer bolts and nuts so that I could fit it together. When you tighten the screws the welding tends to give away. The packaging was poor and as result there were many dents in the product.
Rusty not Rustic
Love the swing, but when you buy an outdoor swing that rusts before the week is up... Then too it says NO RETURNS! I would NOT recommend. We poured concrete to keep it solid then it RUSTS!
Great swing, convenient tables, very nice deisgn
This is a great swing so far. My husband was able to put it together by himself in under two hours, except for the joining of one of the sides, which I held for 1 min while he secured it. Another reviewer "Robert" recommended using ten and thirteen millimeter socket and wrench, and I'm glad we read that and followed the advice. My husband says that made the process much easier. Thanks, Robert! Some other reviewers have complained about the base moving - it will move if you don't secure it. There are two screw holes in each foot. Our swing is on a trex deck, so my husband put one deck screw into each foot, and that has been very sturdy. If you have wood, maybe use both holes to secure it on each foot. If you have the swing on grass or other soft ground, I suggest looking for some heavy duty ground stakes. The canopy does not have an air vent at the top, so strong winds could easily lift this swing. Overall, I think it was a very good buy.
