What I needed

I planned a month long trip to Europe in May-June 2017 and needed a lightweight and simple camera for capturing my trip. I bought this camera two days before I left and one month later I've taken 2000 pictures and 100 videos of Europe with it. It does everything the expensive cameras do if you know what you are doing. I loved the camera's ability to take candid shots of Europe, plus the added fun of videos. The camera is easy to use and can handle most lighting situations. I saw people lugging around heavy cameras and felt sorry for them when this one will do. It captured the best of my memories of Europe, and was worth the price.

Great easy to use camera

I bought this camera for my dad who is 85. I wanted something simple for him to use. I had this camera sent to me so I could set it up for him and be able to answer any of his questions. It was super simple to set up and is easy to use. It takes nice photos and is the basic point and click which is perfect. My dad is very happy with it.

I am impressed and overall happy with this camera. I've had it for a week or so now and getting the hang of all the features. I am really impressed how well the camera takes macro pics even in wind. (See attached image.) The camera came with alkaline batteries and a standard USB to micro-USB charger/data cable. If there are any negatives, the cable could be a little longer. Otherwise, no other issues thus far.

Not many choices left for AA battery cameras

We bought several of these for field work with employees who need the camera to be ready to go between very infrequent intervals. Rechargeable batteries do not work in this application because they are always dead when you need it. I wanted a small size camera, with AA batteries, that shoots quality photos, is easy to use, and is rugged. Unfortunately I could not find a rugged AA camera that took decent photos. This was the next best thing since we can afford to break a few of them at $69 ea. The photo quality is sufficient for our needs and as long as my people have AA batteries with them they are always ready to go. I would highly recommend this camera for the price. I would even say it is as nice as a lot of $180 cameras out there.

This was an emergency replacement camera after we lost our original camera. We are daily vloggers & usually use our beloved Cannon PowerShot ... But like I said, we lost it. So this was a temporary one to begin with, until other budget musts were taken care of. We returned it only a few days later! The biggest problem is also what we thought was a cool feature ... Again until we tried it out ... That is the fact that its battery operated. & DRAINS BATTERIES FAST, LIKE REALLY FAST, LIKE 10MINS! Energizer couldn't even fix this problem. we went through so many batteries. Just a terrible experience. Not worth it even for a temporary camera. We returned it & now just used our smartphones for the moment. We are repurchasing the camera we have lost, we love the Cannon PowerShot so much (170) ... Will have it back shortly. Don't even try it. I wish I could give it no stars, but I suppose everyone nowadays gets a participation trophy.
