Works with my 55" great!
Built very well! It's got a good weight to it. Holds my 55" 4k toshiba great. I was nervous at first because I've always had my tv on a stand using the tv legs, but with kids and animals bumping into occasionally, I thought a mount would be a good idea. It's better than I thought. I had a board cut at lowes to better brace it and after measuring my studs in the wall I used 2 of the heavy bolts that came with this mount for extra strength. I had my 3 quarter in board cut about 40 inches long. Centered it and put one bolt at each end through the stud and used about 6 wood screws to finish bracing it. Then I mounted the wall mount to the board with the last 4 bolts. It's very solid and my tv maneuvers very well on it. Kind of tough to adjust the angle at first, but after a while it eases up. I'm glad I made this purchase and there hdmi cored was a really nice additionto sweeten the deal.
Great Wall mount
It held up by 65 inch screen TV very nice when he had no problems with mounting my tv their very heavy duty the motion is great I love can’t complain
Measurements are a must!
As others posted in previous reviews, be sure to measure your wall studs and your TV mounting screw locations before ordering this specific mount. If your wall studs are greater than 16 inches apart, this mount will be too small. The second thing to consider is the age and mounting locations / screws on the back of your TV. I failed to measure this on my TV and had to be creative using the mounting system from my older floor model TV stand. I have an old 47 inch Vizio (more than 10 years) and the bracket screws are very far apart. I posted a pic showing this Ematic model will not attach to TVs with screws more than 16 inches apart. (All of the additional hardware attached to the TV in my pic is from an old mounting system and is not part of this reviewed mount.) The system is easy enough to install: directions are vague. You will need the tools to drive the wood screws into the studs. I used a ratchet wrench/ socket to firmly attach the mount base. I leveled the mount at the wall and the TV had a slight tilt to one side. The 4 bolts attaching the mounting plate (TV side) allowed enough adjustment to level the TV. Also, if you are looking for a corner mount system, this one works pretty good. My TV is a 47 inch and weighs 47 pounds. The mount seems to be pretty sturdy and holds the TV nicely in place.
Measurements are a must!
TV mount was heavy duty. it did the job that i was hesitant about considering an older 55" LCD that weighed about 80 pounds without an issue. I mean its a heavy TV and with the arms extended, it had a very minor wobble , but very expected because its physics.
