Acceptable quality for a practice guitar.

The pick included with set is thick, slippery, and cheap--essentially useless. The strings are rubbery and took a month before they would stay in tune. The strap is paper thin and too short for a tall player. The case is super flimsy and only good as a basic dust cover and a place to store a few sheets of music and a set of strings. The nut height is a mile from the frets and will need to be filed down for any kind of normal use. The finish on this guitar is too thick and glossy--matte urethane would have been a much better choice. The strangely reddish stain of the back and sides should have been darker and more earthy to match the attractive fretboard more closely. The tuning pegs are very good, the spruce top is beautiful, and the rosewood fretboard is very nice, but not perfectly radiused. Sustain is not very good and volume is weak. All things considered, this instrument is worth about twice of what it costs, despite the useless accessory package.

It's a nice looking guitar and it is easy to play. Just a few notes; the strings that come with it are cheap, so buy some good ones because you will have to replace them right off. Before you put the new strings on, you should tighten up the neck from the inside with the included Allen wrench. Then after you put the new strings on, you will have to tune it a few times as the new strings will stretch the first few times you play it. It does not come with a tuner, so if you do not have one you should order one along with the new strings. I bought it for my husband because his old one got broke when we moved and he says it plays easier than the old one although it is a little more twangy, but it sounds good for such a low priced guitar. The case is some kind of thick plastic and the strap is cheap too, but the guitar itself is pretty good. So for the price, it is worth it.

Just what I was looking for.

I bought this online for my teen daughter, it's perfect for her. She loves it. It's beautiful and sounds great! Can't beat the price either. It's not as big as I thought it would be (good thing) I didn't want a big ol gaudy guitar. It's just the right size. I was skeptical about ordering 3rd party but I had absolutely no problems at all! I even received the guitar before Christmas as promised :) We are pleased with this purchase. Steel strings a plus.
