Received a poorly finished item
I ordered this for my wife. She said she wanted an inexpensive guitar to practice on. I read the reviews and this seemed like it would work. However, the finished product was far from " finished". Where they had cut into the neck to place them tuning screw was completely unsanded and they simply painted over the rough, very rough, cut outs. There was a place on one of those cutout slots that had a big splinter. I contacted the company, sent them picture. After they reviewed the pics they said they would refund the purchase price and i could dispose of or recycle this guitar any way i saw fit. I have not received the refund yet but it hasn't been 5 business days yet.
Good beginner’s guitar for an affordable price.
I bought this for my daughter’s Christmas present, and she loves it.
Seems good so far!
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, so she hasn't received it yet, but it shipped faster than I had expected and it's perfect! All of the 30" guitars seemed too small for her, but this one is just right! Sturdy construction, perfect pink color, everything was in the box that was supposed to be there and it was packaged well! I strummed a few chords to see how it sounded, but other than that it has not yet been used. It needs to be tuned, but other than that, it seems absolutely perfect! She is all about music and is trying her talents on different instruments like the keyboard she got last year. Since she doesn't know yet exactly which instrument she's going to stick with for the long haul, this is something that will be hers and she can learn on while not breaking the bank and yet still having good quality. Very happy with this purchase!
This is the perfect guitar for Bella(my step daughter) she is 9 and is going to start taking lessons so i bought her first guitar for her for Christmas! She not only LOVED how it looked, but the sound was great (her grandfather can play and tested it out and it sounded great!) This will be able to be used for years to come, it is small, but not too small for her to use for at least 4-5 more years, Perfect fr beginners and someone who can play great! The art work on it was very pretty! there was a tiny ding on the back, but it was not a huge mark. I am so so beyond happy with this guitar and i would Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to play the guitar! And the case it comes in is great! strong and perfect fit for the guitar! I do want to get her a hard case as she is still young and i dont want her to bump it on everything when she caries it around! <3
It's OK......I guess
I'm giving this a positive recommendation but I would rather say "maybe it'll work for and maybe not". This guitar is OK for a beginner's guitar but there are a couple of irritating shortcomings. 1) There is only one "button" for strap attachment and that is on the heel of the guitar. There is no other place to attach the other end of the strap so it just hangs loose. I had to take it to a music shop and have another "button" put on it. 2) The canvas case that comes with it is pretty much useless. I adjusted the straps for my 9 year old granddaughter but they still ripped out the first time she put her arms through them---both straps. They were sewn in very shoddily. 3) I am told that the reason it won't stay in tune is because it is new and the guitar strings keep stretching. I'm hoping that this is going to be temporary. Will just have to wait and see how well this guitar is going to perform for a beginner.
