Told in verse in the same meter as Clement Moore's classic Christmas poem, this title follows two children, who are wide awake the night before St. Patrick's Day, setting traps to catch a leprechaun. Full color.
It's the night before St. Patrick's Day, and Tim and Maureen are wide awake setting traps to catch a leprechaun! When they wake the next morning to the sound of their dad playing the bagpipes and the smell of their mom cooking green eggs, they're shocked to find that they've actually caught a leprechaun. But will they be able to find his pot of gold? Natasha Wing's sweet story is once again told in verse to the same meter of Clement Moore's classic.

Perfect St. Pat's Day Bookhat

As a retired teacher, I can recommend this book for ages 2 1/2 - 9. It is a great book that explains the Irish folklore about catching a leprechaun. A leprechaun trap is even shown to inspire children to make their own traps. My grand kids loved this book. I wish that I had known about it when I taught third grade. The other books in the series must be outstanding as well.

Great book for children!

I buy all of these nice holiday books to prepare and teach my child about the upcoming holidays. This author has a book for every holiday, even for events such as the night before first grade and night before kindergarten! My son totally understands what the holidays are all about now!

cute books

We started with The Night Before Easter, so when I had seen this book online, I ordered it. Its not as cute as the others in the series, but still a nice book to read in March:)

Great book
