American Maid 5 gallons bottle

Sturdy and made in the good USA, what else can you ask for? It would has been grate if it has included the adapter (disk?) to fit on the water dispenser.

Thanks Walmart

Hurricane Irma was rapidly approaching Florida. Thursday before the hurricane arrived on Sunday we needed two - five gallon containers to hold water I will admit I did go to another online retailer initially to purchase the five gallon water containers. They were much more expensive on that site plus they would not have been delivered in time. Walmart.com had the water containers and they were much much cheaper and they were going to be delivered on Saturday. I did not think that they really could deliver the water containers on Saturday but early Saturday afternoon the FedEx truck pulled up and had my water containers. The hurricane came on Sunday and we were without power and water for four days. Thanks to Walmart's two day shipping our family had water during the power and water outage.

Caps leak

Halfway decent review for the bottles, which seem durable enough and are BPA free. For longterm storage, though, these bottles should be off the ground and, in most cases, stored on their sides. I just bought twenty, for emergency water storage and when I filled them and laid them on their sides, on the racks I bought for this purpose, every-single-one-of-th- caps-leak. Water isn't pouring out but constant drip-drip-drip. This must be fixed by the company. Why is there not a proper seal on these caps? The caps are shallow and there is no inside rubber seal, just plastic screw grooves. My husband is not trying to rig something with plumber's tape, so we don't have to go buy all new bottles, since the replacement caps for this brand are just as bad as the ones that originally come with it.
