overall I really like my rockers.
Although my son and I had a little bit of a time putting them together due to the fact the pre-made holds were not quite big enough but we compromised. And as far as recommending this to a friend a day later after we put them out on the porch several neighbor's inquired about them. I wanted something different than what everyone else had (the wicker styles) I needed something that would hold-up to teenagers hanging out on it. This wrought iron will be around for their grand-children. I also purchased two really Floridian style cushions to put on them. I love em!
A Great Deal
I received my chairs yesterday and put them together all by myself today. They are comfortable to sit in and the seat cushions that I purchased fit them perfectly!
sturdy and attractive. great value
Very sturdy wrought iron welding. Easy instructions and solid hardware. Hex nut screws came with L tool. You need a little muscle to tighten them because the sections are so strong. They look and feel terrific. A great find for the money. We got 2 for our daughter's enclosed porch. snack table and cushions purchased elsewhere.
I love my rocker so glad I purchased it it's really nice sturdy and looks good on my patio
GREAT, but also"Luck of the Draw"
I purchased two of these for use on the front porch of my Victorian home. They came VERY WELL PACKAGED, each piece wrapped separately to prevent scratching and/or rubbing. The first rocker took me literally 20 minutes to assemble by myself. Instructions are VERY CLEAR, all parts clearly marked, ALL HOLES LINED UP! I was so impressed, that I almost dropped what I was doing and wrote a glowing review right then and there...THEN CAME THE SECOND ROCKER: The holes were so painted over, that the pieces did not fit easily. VERY HARD TO ALLIGN HOLES. Assembly took at least TWICE AS LONG as first one. Also, there were factory gauges on one side of the wrought iron, as well as paint fading on the top. Was the quality control guy on break when this one came through the assembly line, or WHAT? BOTTOM LINE: Overall, nice product. Study, attractive, comfortable. On the other hand, quality is not consistent. So, if you're lucky, you'll get a good one. If not, don't sweat it out like I did, just take it back to the store and exchange it. Good luck either way.
