Glad i purchased this faceshield

I live in Grass Valley and use these when I use my string trimmer. Lots of debris flying. So far they have taken a licking and come through with flying colors and kept my face from harm. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

bought uvex in the past, buying a new one.

The Uvex 8500 has been a great face shield, use has taken it's toll, so buying a new one. The lens is very clear, however, you must remove the protective film on both side of the lens. Based on some of the reviews I believe this was over looked. The shield is very comfortable, offers good protection, and reduces noise.

This was the same face shield as the Matco tool man was selling - but 1/3 rd the price (no surprise there)
