Perfect Gift for my son's first Birthday!
I ended up searching online for different toys reading descriptions and features and reviews to see what toy would be the best for my son on his first birthday all the way up til the day before his birthday because I wanted to make sure it was perfect, entertaining, colorful, educational, kept his attention and was built to hold up to a 1 year old every day play and that it was a safe well built sturdy toy and i found that in the vtech sit to stand ultimate alphabet train. I choose to do site to store pick up which was absolutely wonderful and very convenient not one issue. When I seen the toy in the box I was very happy with my purchase and this only shows the train section the ride on/seat caboose and the blocks and all are inside the box so once it was opened and put together I was ecstatic. When I gave it to my son he instantly went to it and began playing with it we had the whole train and caboose put together and he had a ball but then i took the caboose seat off and he had just as much fun standing and walking arounsd pushing the train and also walking around with the caboose that when the top of the seat is lifted it goes back and turns into a wagon which he loved and not only do the 13 double sided alphabet blocks get carried in it but all his other favorite toys. I love that on top of the train is a slot to stick the blocks in and they shoot out the back and when caboose is attached the blocks go right into the bottom part everytime perfect and fun way to have my son pick up the blocks and put them away when hes done playing with the train and he doesnt even realize hes doing a chore he thinks hes just playing. It is very sturdy he sits on it all the time put tons of items in the caboose/wagon section and plays with it everyday basically all day he may add other toys to his playtime through the day but the train is always apart of play time. He loves the buttons, lights and sounds and the walkie talkie that snaps in and out of the holder on the train he walks around blabbering unknown words for hours like hes talking on the phone and he loves to stick the blocks into the section of the train where when you put the block in the letter facing you is the letter it reads and gives you a word that starts with it and has a few other things it says about that letter. It is a wonderful toy I am more than pleased with my purchase and it actually went above my expectations and my son loves it too and I can tell this toy will be around for years of play!
Baby loves this train
I bought this early for my nine month old because I know he'll grow into it. He loves pushing the buttons and playing with the letter blocks. I have no doubt he'll love it even more when he can sit on it.
Fun while it lasted!
We loved our VTech Train. The music & sounds are alot of fun & it offers so many activities. Our daughter used it only a little. She learned to walk standing behind the first part when the back part was removed. She tried to ride on it when both pieces were together, but her feet would always get caught & the whole thing would tip over on her. About four months into owning it, all of the electronics stopped working (it was never used outside & it was always switched off when not in use). My husband looked inside & said everything looked fried (melted wires ect...). So unfortunately it went in the dumpster & we won't be purchasing another for our new baby. There was probably a warranty, but it just seemed like a hassle. But we did love it while it worked!
