Hate it. Spend around $380. Now the return day is over already. the battery keeps dying. Can't use it when I am outside.
I have only had this computer for a few days, but I'm very happy with it with one exception. The wireless reception was very weak. I was only able to get about 3 MBs on the downloads despite having broadband. Then I found out that the Qualcomm Atheros network adapter does not play nice with my Fios router. The solution was to go into my router and disable the WMM/QoS. Once I did that it worked fine. Despite the wireless problem I'm still giving this 5 stars. Nice computer for the price and excellent service from Walmart.
You Can't Go Wrong With This Computer.
It was delivered on time and in perfect condition as promised. Only took about 10 minutes to get it set up and updated. This is my second Acer product I've purchased. I have a desktop and a laptop from Acer. (We are an Acer family.) The laptop is great for the price. The speed is the best I've ever had on a computer. It's ultra thin. Wi fi and printer hooked up without a hitch, (plug and play.) Only downside is there is no dvd player. But, who uses those anymore?
DON'T DO IT!
Purchased this Acer laptop and it worked great for 5 days! Then became glitchy and the screen would freeze up. After a couple of weeks it is unresponsive. Took it to Walmart to return or exchange and they told me to contact the manufacturer. I contacted Acer and they told me to contact the reseller. As of right now, I'm stuck with a brand new non working laptop. No one wants to stand behind this product. I will not purchase this brand again and I will not purchase electronics online though Walmart again.
DON'T DO IT!
Web page colors look faded and washed out. Spent half an hour chatting with someone on their website to no avail. I will call the manufacture Monday to give them a chance to correct before I return for a refund.
