Great and Convenient!
This is a great kennel...if your dog is ALREADY crate trained. I purchased this for my 8 mo (crate trained) golden retriever puppy. It is very convenient and portable for when she goes to the sitters house. It does run a bit small. I bought the extra large as she is 50lbs and still growing. She still has some room to grow in it.
It's soft and comfortable and she likes it much better than a cage.
Pefect for our lab/pit
We bought this for our second lab and it is Wonderful! After each use, we are able to easily place it on the other crate to allow more space.
This crate is lightweight and easily folds for storage or travel. All three of my dogs like the comfort of a crate so they immediately took to this one. I like it because I can easily move it from room to room and can take it with us when traveling. I also have two wire crates but they are time consuming to take apart/set up and too heavy/bulky to easily transport. The extra large is roomy enough for my 100 pound German Shepherd and also accommodates my petite 70 pound female. I would have liked the option to chose my own colors but it seems either the red, blue, or tan are shipped randomly. Regardless, it is one of the best values out there and does everything it should.
I just recently got a 13 week old yellow lab and needed a kennel for house training purposes. I went with the pop open kennel because I live in an aparment and wanted the ability to fold it up when I wasn't using it. I read the reviews on this site and others before purchasing. The kennel worked fine for a couple of days until my puppy learned to unzip the kennel and let herself out. She left me several presents around the apartment as well as chewing every thing she could get a hold of, including a bag of candy and the kennel. Locking the zipper didn't work either she just chewed a hole in the door netting and let herself out. Needless to say I went out immediately and purchased a wire kennel, its large, was more expensive and it does not fold as easily, but I don't have to worry about what is happening while I am not home. Since I bought the new kennel she has not had any accidents and has started alerting me when she needs to go outside. I wish I had save myself the trouble and the money and bought the wire kennel to begin with.
