Good Value

This unit is small and light weight. It installs easily. Runs very quietly. And it cools a bedroom quickly. The price is very reasonable.

Great window unit

For the price it operates very well. It has 7 cool speeds and 4 cooling sets. It's working great even when it got to 108 degrees didn't know it was that hot until I listen to the weather. In my opinion this would work well in a small apartment or tiny house it very well could keep the whole place cool.

Ge AEY05LV Air conditioner

So far -so good.Cool air and virtually quiet. Two speeds hi and low and two fan also has temp control to make it jusr right in the room.My dad has bought two of these a few years ago and still works pretty well.

Works well so far

I live alone and was able to install this unit by myself in a somewhat high window. The brackets are basic and easy to install. You may need a block of wood to level the sill with a storm-window frame if you have one of those (I do, on an old house, and didn't realize I'd need this additional piece; otherwise the unit will not have the slight tilt backwards it needs to drain.) So far the unit, on the highest and coolest setting, not only cools my bedroom to refrigerator levels, but two additional rooms adequately if I leave the door open (my house is small). So far our hottest day has been 90, in fairly dry Colorado. It's not the fanciest and sturdiest unit, so we'll see what the quality is like long-term, but it was cheap and so far is functional. (One con is that temperature settings must be changed manually, it won't turn off when the room is cooled.)

good little unit

I bought this unit to replace a bigger older unit and it does a better job than the bigger unit did. I even have to turn it down sometimes it cools so well. I recommend it to anyone needing to cool off a medium sized room.
