Meets expectations. Great price.

I share a wall with a neighbor and bought this stereo to place on my wall, and help to shield noise from next door. Though not a powerful stereo system by any means, it has enough quality sound for daily listening at medium to low volume. The tuner finds radio stations, and it's antenna draws in all nearby stations well. CD works well so far, and it has a repeat/loop function. The two speakers detach and can be positioned as much as about six feet apart. Each speaker can be hung independently on a wall, as well as the tuner/cd. The LCD screen puts off a blue colored light, which will create a slight blue ambient light in a small room. When the stereo is turned off the digital clock shows the time (though you must be near it to read the time). The remote works well, although it is very small - about the size of a double folded credit card.(Don't misplace it.) All things considered, for less than 35 bucks, this little system is highly recommended.

Good value!

It is easy to set up. Speakers can be placed elsewhere, not just on the stereo, but only the distance of the speaker wires. Good sound.

Jensen has working Headphone Jack

This unit plays books on CD as well as music CDs. The headphone jack was the most important feature to me, so that swayed my decision to purchase this Jensen system. The mp3 input also functions properly. All features work quite well (AM/FM radio; clock; etc.). It is a terrific space saver. I purchased 2 other brand players elsewhere that promised headphone jacks, but one unit arrived unopened, yet broken & non-operational: once I got the second unit home, I found it had a non-functional headphone jack, and the CD player was stuck on track 16---on any CD music, or book inserted, and would not play. Hopefully, I can enjoy this Jensen for a long time.

Didn't work

I ordered this stereo for my room since I've gone without one for so long. It came in the mail, barely two days after ordering. It came very quickly! The main complaint about the whole thing I have is that the CD player didn't even work... the radio worked pretty well, but I tried and tried and the CD player would run, scan the disks, and then reply with an Error message. We ended up taking it back to our local Walmart and got a different stereo system. An ONN and it works really well. The sound is great, the CD player and Radio work well on this one. Plus, I like the ONN disk opener much better. the Jensen was very cheaply made, I was almost worried I'd break it! :O

Great Sound for a good price

Player plays commercial CDs and home burned CDs with no problem. Sound is quite good given the size of the speakers and the low price.
