this curling iron does what it says it does ! it will NOT burn your hair even with product upon it . I would buy one in every size if it was available .
Great performance; poor design
LOVE this curling iron for its performance-- it has a variety of heat settings, heats up very quickly, and curls well. However, its overall design has room for improvement. First of all, the screws on each side of the hair clamp extend out too far, and my long hair is CONSTANTLY getting caught and tangled on them, and then eventually pulled out of my head-- ouch! Secondly, the placement of the On/Off button, and the heat setting button, is awkward-- they are located on the handle of the curling, directly where the user holds the curling iron while using it; therefore, I am finding that I am unintentionally turning the curling iron off in the midst of curling my hair! But, to end on a positive note, there is another feature that I really like-- the solid "foot" on the iron that keeps it from sitting directly on the bathroom sink/countertop. So many curling irons have a chrome "foot" that swivels/moves and is not stationary-- I HATE those! So, all in all, I would definitely recommend purchasing this particular iron. But, I hope to see the design improved in the future! Happy curling!
Packaging Banged Up, Product Survived
It says to rate and review my purchase, so I am going to review my purchase experience and the item. I was in the store as I began my shopping trip, and I saw that if you ordered this with in-store pick up you could save about $6-$7. So I ordered it as I was in the aisle looking at the product. There were probably 20 of these hanging on the shelf. When I got a text saying that my order was ready I went to the area for in-store pick up and the person who is selecting the product from the shelf had grabbed a very beat up box, but it was the holidays and I was in a hurry so I took a gamble instead of standing in the customer service line . I would like to think the associates were trained to pick an item that wasn't beat up and let in store shoppers choose if they want to grab that one off the shelf. With that being said I was surprised the curling iron wasn't damaged. It works great and my wife loves it. I read reviews about it burning hair, but the temperature is adjustable and hasn't been an issue.
I have had mine for ever a year and use it all the time.
It was perfect. I will buy again thank you. I'm always using it. cones in handy.
