I have all the different types of the prismacolor pencils such as Premier, scholar, verithin etc. and must say these are the closest to the Premiers. The Premiers are very very pricey as all you coloring fans know. I purchased the verithin, the regulars etc, before purchasing the Scholars and let me tell you for this Walmart price the Scholars are amazing, and best of all they do not break as easily as the Premiers when sharpening. Definitely great buy for 48 count.
Excellent quality! Affordable price!
I purchased these for my daughter's college art class. They are professional art quality colored pencils. I also purchased the professional artist pencil sharpener. Good Quality! The cost of materials for college art classes gets very expensive. We found all name brand, quality professional art supplies at a great price! We recommend you look here first!
Much better than what i was using
Had seen these advertised on TV and when they were marked down for Xmas sales, I couldn't resist. I don't feel like I have to press as hard and they seem brighter. The 48 count gives me a good variety as well. Will have to see how long they actually last. So far, so good.
Great set to have
This is a great set of pencils. There 48 that came in this pack. Every pencil came fully sharpened. They're also in color order. Everything is neat and organized in this case. It came removed and put back easily and stored right. The color can be light but with the right amount of pressure it can be deeper.
My child is Starting art class and i wanted her to be outfitted with all the things she needed. I understand that prismacolor is the best in the industry, but can be very pricey. I was able to afford this on my limited budget.
