buyer Beware of wipes

OMG! Horriblereaction to product

I had on makeup all day and even took pics, not a bump in site. At night I removed my makeup with the Neutragena wipeswhile on the phone and almost instantly, my face face started bumping up. One side of my face was broken out, while the other was red and broken out as well. I have never had a reaction to my entire face, and I’m so upset because I wiped my entire face. After cleaning my face, I tried hrydocortisone 1% and I took some Claritin that night. but the next day I avoided contact with everyone because my face was a mess and I couldn’t hide it with makeup. Day 2 of hydrocortisone and claritin it appears to be clearing up, no longer red but very bumpy. I am a dark skinned African American, I didn’t even know my skin could turn red WTF.

Loved product until it broke out my face horribly

I have been using these make up remover wipes for months. I loved them because they are extremely convenient and work amazingly. I was so happy when I found them and have been religiously using them since. Except about three days ago I noticed my forehead started looking extremely red and a little bumpy. I was dealing with a sunburn at the time so i thought maybe i was about to start peeling. However, the next day my forehead was covered in little red bumps that have come to a point as what I can only describe as a whitehead. Today I ended up with these bump/whiteheads all over my face. Last week my face was completely clear. I really loved this product but after this reaction I’m terrified to use them again. I guess i will be finding new makeup wipes.

Acne-like Rash on Cheeks and itchiness

I have been a loyal user of these wipes for years. For the last 8 months or so, I started developing an acne-like rash in my cheeks and forehead. I am 52 years old and thought it odd I was getting this sort of acne. I had made no changes in make-up, brushes nor any other kind of skin products. I tried retin-A and doxycycline, thinking I was having a weird acne flare-up and neither made any difference. I never considered these cloths might be causing it because I have been using them for years and NEVER had a problem before. After seeing the recent viral Facebook posting and now reading more similar reviews on this site, I feel certain these cloths are the culprit. After more thought and finally making this connection, I have also experienced quite a bit of itchiness around the hairline and my ears - all places where I cleanse to remove make-up. I will be discontinuing the use of these towelettes to see if the condition improves.

Used for years - now causing rash on eyes!

I've been using these same makeup remover wipes for as long as I can remember, however when I bought a large box of them in May I started experiencing a rash on my eyelids - redness, excessive dryness, inflammation, and itchiness. At first I thought it was just environmental allergies or dryness due to weather change, however it has gotten progressively worse over the past few months. Last week my eyelids puffed up so much I could barely open and close them. I've stopped using everything in my routine and the rash cleared, and then I introduced products back 1 by 1 to see what the culprit was. It was easy to determine that it was these wipes. I don't know if the formula has changed, but I sincerely hope the company goes back to the original formulation, these were my favorite!

I’ve been using these for years and out of the BLUE they started giving me an allergic reaction. A rash on my forehead and eyelids. Dried up my skin HORRIBLY. Now my eyelids are super scaley and dried up, as is my forehead.
