Easy to assemble! Take minutes

Shipped as promised! Excellent quality. Easy to install. My son who is not handy, had this put together in 20 min! Just snaps together (need rubber Mallet) and a small drill to screws top caps on. Very easy and simple great for people who do not have the time to buy and cut the wood. Will be buying another one next year.

This is a bit too little light duty

This is a little bit light in my opinion. It is dove tailed so it goes together easily. I would have paid more for boards thicker then 5/8". See the picture it shows the board and dove tailed joints.. The center boards are NECESSITY to keep it from bulging out in the middle. I will only use 2 of the 3 provided so I don't "loose" that planting area, which hold it together.

Study, well made and easy to put together bed

Love it. Super easy to put together. I wanted to "test" it out in a couple of different locations in my yard before committing to filling it with flower and veggie soil so I put it together and gentle dragged it to a couple of different locations until I found the spot I felt was the sunniest and with room for possible expansion for another bed if I'm successful with this one. As easy as it was to move around, once filled with 25 bags of 2 cubic bags of soil and half a block of peat moss, it was permanent and not budging. I got the taller one because I was concerned it would not be deep enough but it's probably too deep unless you're going to grow ground crops. Highly recommended.

A Good Raised Bed For New Gardeners

This raised bed is shipped in one box. All cedar boards are 4 feet long. Two inch (2") by two inch (2") dovetailed posts permit the easy construction and disassembly of the unit. These posts are also the main shortcoming of the raised garden. The two 4' x 8' raised gardens that we purchased a year ago had two (out of 12) dovetail posts split. Luckily they can be glues or simply rotated in-place so that they can be re-used. We never installed the post caps, which may have (?) contributed to the problem. I highly recommend that you steer clear of the raised garden if you have a riding mower or a tractor. The corner posts simply aren't designed to be struck by a mower deck. The 3.5" x 4' cedar boards that make up this frame are rough sawed. These are not the beautiful raised beds that you sometimes see in home and garden magazines. However, they work!
