Stanley Hammer Tacker
It makes work faster than a hand stapler. I wish someone had told me that you have to hit it just right or the staples don't go all the way in. You have to take a hammer and pound them in. The product could be improved on if it had a way to set the depth of the staple. The handle could also be designed better so you don't bang your fingers on the wood while hammering.
This is a great tool for the price.
This tool is great. The only flaw is that a few times I really smacked it down and the spring popped out ( 3 times). It never jammed. Great tool, Great Price.
Great tool. Lasts about a month with heavy use.
Brilliant for stapling insulation. Prefer it over the competitors product. Purchased several and don't mind them breaking as they get alot of use.
I have a older chrome one works great. has a metal pin in the back that holds it together. new black one lasted me 9 months. made the pin out of plastic in the new black model. I use it for carpet pad to wood floors
Falls apart regularly
I rarely write reviews yet in this case it's a must . I need to ask myself if anyone tested this tool before releasing it into the field , the spring / rear loader flys off regularly, inside the first 2 mins I needed to go and search for the spring and replace , it's happened too many times to even count , the whole design just doesn't work ,, it's not only this particular tool it's the design . I also have a grip rite stapler exactly same design it also falls apart in same way ,, There's many other tools that work , Don't waste your money ,
