I have to take it apart and return it...
Great cost, looks wonderful... not a good design 1. The frame is much bigger than a twin sized mattress, that is why the have all the bedding tucked in around the mattress. 2. The corners on the foot of the bed are extra sharp points, not rounded. 3. The middle "leg" has sharp points on top which make it difficult to get in and out of the bed without scratching your legs. 4. The headboard is backed with colored CARDBOARD. 5. It is so low that you cannot store anything underneath. 6. The top of the frame around the mattress area is not rounded at all so that it comes to a sharp angle. It is a sturdy bed that looks great at a fantastic price, but not for me. I would advise parents to look at it carefully. Hope this helps.
Great for the price!
I don't see an option to add photos. Possible because we bought this in-store. Took a couple hours to put together. I personally didn't mind. This bed does NOT require a box spring. There are two 'legs' hidden under the bed for extra support, plus three boards that you place on top, next to each other, that fit the length of the bed. The mattress lays on it perfectly. The backboard is NOT 'cardboard'. It IS a little thinner than the rest of the pieces, but that is just the design. It does lay close to the ground, so comforters, and our case a quilt, will need to be tucked in so it doesn't lay on the floor. One the corner parts touched the floor a little, not the sides. As for sturdiness. Yes, it's sturdy! I weight over 300 lbs. I had to step on the wood planks that mattress lays on to redo some wall decorations to line up iwth the bed. I was nervous! But it held beautifully! Not a creak! Thank goodness..that COULD have been a disaster! So, I'd say it's wonderfully sturdy!
Great for the price
I read the reviews for this bed prior to buying and have to say that the bed exceeded my expectations from the reviews. Not sure what people are expecting for $99, but this bed is great for the price. I bought 2 of these for my boys. They did take about 45 minutes to an hour each to put together (each), but the process was an easy one. They are very handsome beds. The material is sturdier than I expected. I did read that the headboard is a cardboard wrap, which it is, but opted to not use the wrap. The beds look great with out it. The size is exactly what I needed for the small room they share. For $99 bucks, I would recommend this bed ten times over.
Great for the price
The twin beds aren't cheap looking, they're comfortable if assembled the right way and worthy. My babies are enjoying their new beds.. I would buy furniture from WalMart anytime. I'm very satisfied :-)
I'm a single mom of 8 & 10 year old girls. Bought 2 of these and I put them together all by myself. The directions are clear and easy to follow. Very satisfied with this product. Great quality.
