Didn't like the product

I was initially happy with this product. It worked well for a bit. After awhile, like one of the other reviews stated, the dryer would overheat and the highest setting quit working. I contacted the manufacturer who didn't ask for a lot of details. I explained what happened. They offered to send a replacement. When I explained that I didn't have the receipt anymore, they didn't seem to mind. When the second one arrived, it was a different color. The same item, just the color black, not gold. It worked well for a few months. One day while using the dryer, it made a 'pop' sound. Kind of like what you hear when you unravel a refrigerated container of biscuits. LOL! There were no sparks, just the noise. I promptly turned the unit off and have not used it since. A red flag should have gone up when they offered to send a new one so quickly. I will not be requesting another one.

You Can Tell That It Is Cheap

The Gold and Hot dryer cost between 25-35 as opposed to the Andis dryer at a cost of $20. The major difference between the two other than cost is the quality of the attachments. The Gold and Hot attachments are sturdy, durable, and heavy; whereas, the Andis attachments are lightweight, easy to break and bend. My concern with these features is at due to the possibility of breakage of the attachments, you will have to replace them quite often, which drives up the cost of the product.

I love this blow dryer

My husband purchased this for me about two and a half months ago. I love it. I use it to blow out my hair and daughters hair. Both of them are natural and it does wonders. I would def. recommend.

I love this blow dryer

This dryer would be perfectly fine if you weren't buying it to specifically use the brush attachment. I wanted to try another brand of dryer made similar to the one I've used for years but have problems with overheating so I chose this one to try. This style of dryer is a huge help in straightening my hair as I dry it and is much less awkward than using a round brush a dryer at the same time. Unfortunately, the bristles on this brush are so soft they will not go through wet hair and aren't very useful on dry hair either. I didn't even make it through 5 minutes before I gave it up and went back to fighting with my conair that constantly overheats and the brush slides off over and over. If they changed the brush to a stiffer bristle I would have no complaints at all. Hope this helps.

I love this blow dryer

I own this hairdryer and like it very much. The combs started losing teeth and I stopped using dryer. Recently I wanted to replace the dryer for the combs as I didn't see anyplace that sold the combs separately. I ordered this and love it. I use the dryer just to get my hair straight as I am African-American and use the dryer to straighten my hair so I don't have to use relaxer as much. Just hope the combs don't break so fast.
