It looks good but is too light weight so the cats can't claw the heck out of it-it starts tipping over. It needs to be heavier. Bottom line, they're not interested.

cats don't care

Product is as advertised, but our cats (3) don't seem too impressed, even after adding catnip. Occasionally one will scratch on the carpet part, but so far none have been attracted to the sisal rope part.

My cat loves it!

This cat Scratching Post is great! It is sturdy and well-made. It is a nice size. Our old one was shorter, and the cat seems to like the taller one better. It has two different scratching surfaces on it - carpet, and rope, which cats seem to love. The website shows a blue scratching post, but mine is brown. This did not matter to me, though. If you go to a pet store, you will pay $40 or $50 for a similar scratching post, so at $20 this was a great bargain!

My cat loves it!

Only one cat uses this post.Tried it with kittens-all they did was rub on it and pull the carpet threads out.The other cats didn't seem interested so we placed it with a little female cat,Annie. She didn't waste any time-uses it all the time.

My cat will not use this post!!! It is too short!! It seems to be made well but it just sits there taking up space and no interest from my cat even after putting cat nip all over it.
