I just moved and really needed something. The spoons and spatulas are just HUGE and one spatula melted a little while I was making eggs. I wish I would have tried the other set at a similar price. The peeler worked fine.

Tools are Great but Gadget are bottom line

I returned because the gadgets included, potato peeler and the pizza cutter were bottom line, looked like they'd bend/break with first use. Also, it was difficult to see measurement sizes on Cups and Spoons, but I have "Old Eyes". On the postitive side: The tools, Spatulas and Spoons were sturdy, look very durable. I liked that they had the preferable one piece handle construction. Handle will not come apartand/or food particals, other gunk, water, etc. can't get traped in the split handle area like it would if handle were a two part constuction. This Purchase was an intended as gift to 20 yr old, new to cooking. I returned because I did not want to discourage any new cook with inferior potato peeler, pizza cutter, etc. I plan to buy individual items, tried and true Brands I prefer: OXO, Cpalhalon, Kitchen Aid and/or T-Fal.

Oh, please -- I beg of you, don't waste your money on this junk. That's all. Take your hard-earned cash and hustle yourself down to the nearest restaurant supply store. Spend wisely and well, and you will have a collection of utensils that will last a lifetime. (30 years+ for some if mine, and no more costly than what you'll get at Target or Walmart.) We threw a NEW set of these in our luggage when moving overseas. Figured it would last until our household goods arrived. WRONG. Some didn't last a week. Can opener (first use!) measuring cups, and spatulas all broke. Large spoons are so cheap they flexed down while being used to serve stew. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Too bad there's not a ZERO rating. I'd give Farberware two. :-[

Good quality!

Product is sturdy, stands up 2 heat. Doesn't scratch pans or pots. Overall very satisfied.

Bought for my mom for Christmas

My mom asked for new cooking utensils for Christmas so I got these as it is a good quality kit with almost everything you would need except maybe a potato masher. The problem I had is Wal-mart sent me a product package that was all beat up and halfway smashed and then taped up with orange walmart tape. This was the Farberware product package and not the shipping box, mind you. I was worried something might be missing or damaged and what my mom would think when she opened her present. It was too late to return it and have by Christmas. Yup she was concerned about the box condition when she removed the wrapping paper. But thankfully everything was there and in good shape other than the box.
